For maximum health benefits, our Maca powder is a blend of a multitude of maca root colors found naturally in each harvest. It is grown without chemicals or herbicides, and the roots are sun-dried upon harvest.
Gelatinization is a process that removes the starch from the maca root making it easier to digest. The gelatinization essentially provides a “pre-digested” energy source that is more readily absorbed by the human gastrointestinal tract.
