Q: Where does it take place?

  • A: Fire Station 3
    2121 Roosevelt Rd Kenosha, WI

Q: When do you test?

  • A: Tuesday (2pm-6pm)
    Thursday (2pm-6pm)
    Saturday (9pm-1pm)

    *The fire department also tests at the same site on Wednesdays and Fridays from 12 PM to 6 PM.

Q: How do I register/do I have to register?

  • A: Registering is HIGHLY recommended. The patient should visit https://modernapothecary.10to8.com.

    *If the prospective customer doesn’t have strong computer processing skills, we can register them on-site. However, feel free to sign them up for a time slot on 10to8!

Q: The link to register isn’t working!

Q: I didn’t get a QR code!

  • A: Try checking your spam folder. If it’s not there, no worries. We should be able to pull you up on-site through first and last name or date of birth.

Q: Does it cost anything?

  • A: No! It is a state-funded program.

Q: When and how do I get my test results?

  • A: You will receive an e-mail with a negative within 5-7 days (If they only provided a phone number then they will be called.) OTHERWISE, The Health Dept. will call you if your result is positive, most likely before then.

Q: It’s been 5 days and I still haven’t received my results!

  • A: If you still have not been contacted within 5 days or feel you may have missed your results call;
    You can call the COVID-19 Results Hotline at: 1-866-419-6988

    *The Hotline is open: 8am – 6pm, Monday - Friday
    They may be subject to wait times due to the influx of calls

Q: Do you have/can you give me my results?

  • A: Unfortunately, no. Modern Apothecary is only responsible for administering the test, we do not receive any information regarding testing results.

Q: How old do you have to be?

  • A: Patients must be at least 5 years old to receive a test.

Q: Are you going to stab my brain?

  • A: Lol. No, the swab will only go in about 1-inch into the nasal cavities for 5-10 seconds.

Q: What kind of test do you use?

  • A: It is a Real-time RT-PCR test (a molecular test) from Mako Medical. They are CLIA Certified and EUA approved.
